Washington Settles $6.55 Million Lawsuit
The state of Washington has agreed to settle a $6.55 million lawsuit with six brothers who were sexually abused by their mother during childhood. The lawsuit claimed that between 1992 and 2000, 33 complaints were logged with the state's Child Protective Services department, but no action was ever taken by the state.
