Suit Settled over Exposure to Mercury at Day Care
A $1 million class-action lawsuit has been settled between a day care in southern New Jersey and a group of parents over children's exposure to toxic chemicals. The suit was filed after inspectors in 2006 found the Kiddie Kollege Day Care was being held in a building riddled with mercury vapors. More than 100 children were exposed to the vapors, the suit claimed, but it is unsure if the children will develop harmful symptoms as a result. Jan Hefler , Philadelphia Inquirer 10/20/2010
