Suit Filed over Child's Death in Foster Home
A lawsuit has been filed in Oklahoma against a foster couple and the state's Department of Human Services over the death of a 2-year-old girl. The suit, filed by the child's biological parents, claims the agency should have removed the child from the dangerous home. A pathology report said the child died of "blunt-force injury to the head, abdomen and extremities." The foster mother has been charged with felony child abuse. Randy Ellis, NewsOK.com 10/20/2010
