$3.5 Million Suit Settled over Crash at Arizona Bicycle Event

An Arizona man who suffered severe brain damage when he was hit by a car during a bike riding event in 2008 will receive a $3.5 million settlement in a suit filed against the event organizers and a local county. The plaintiff was riding in the El Tour de Tucson in November 2008 when a car turned into the biker's lane, hitting 10 people, the suit stated.
